Urbane Capital Management is a South Florida-based real estate investment and development firm that focuses on infill properties for value-add repositioning, adaptive re-use and ground-up development, as well as distressed asset transactions. Our firm is focused on fast growing markets in Florida and the Southeast with strong demographic tailwinds. Additionally, it is also focused on value-add opportunities in the New York City market. Urbane’s principals have collectively more than 60 years of experience in executing complex real estate opportunities through multiple real estate cycles.

Urbane Capital Management was founded in 2021 by Amin Jamal and Nitin Jain. Urbane was founded with the vision of bringing together a collaborative team of experienced real estate professionals dedicated to the execution of the Firm’s real estate investment strategy.
Prior to Urbane, Amin is a 20-year veteran in the real estate industry and has developed over 2 million square feet of real estate as a principal in various emerging markets including the United Arab Emirates, India, and Brazil.
Before Urbane, Nitin was a partner at Orion Real Estate, Atlanta. Nitin has more than 20 years of experience in both public as well as private real estate investments. Nitin is a trained Architect and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Geographic Focus
Urbane’s core focus on development and value-add opportunities are in the South Florida (Miami–Fort Lauderdale–West Palm Beach) and Orlando markets. The firm has a secondary focus on the Southeast growth markets of Charlotte, Atlanta and Research Triangle Park. These markets are exhibiting strong growth due to demographic shifts that are expected to persist over multiple real estate cycles.
Urbane is also has an opportunistic focus on New York City which happens to be the premier gateway city of the US and the #1 City in the World. We are focused on capitalizing on current dislocation in the market to acquire value-add assets.
